    • The CU-SeeMe Cool Site -- Video conferencing via the Internet

    • FreeDrive -- 50 MB free storage space for files & photo albums, can be shared

    • FreeFax -- World Wide Free Internet E-mail to Fax (with links to a variety of other free services) -- limited calling areas

    • e-Groups -- Free Listserv hosting with archives; shared files, calendar, links, polls, databases, chatroom

    • NetMeeting -- Free Windows program for online meetings. Features include: video and audio conferencing, whiteboard, chat, file transfer, remote desktop sharing (included in Office 2000)

    • Netscape AOL Instant Messenger -- Free program that lets you detect friend who are online when you are there and exchange chat-like messages. Windows and Macintosh versions available.

    • PhoneFree -- Free Windows program that allows free PC-to-phone calling to and within the United States, free worldwide PC-to-PC voice calling over the Internet, integrated PC-based voice mail, video calling and video mail, file and picture transfer

    • Webex -- Online meetings (free for 10 minute meetings) -- a way to hold meetings and share documents live, over the Internet, all within a simple web browser

    • Yahoo Chat -- Free service which allows you to set up private chat rooms on-th-fly
