Conference Agenda

This conference will provide information, hands-on experience and discussion concerning the ways members of religious communities can make use of Internet resources. It will highlight the ways that these resources can be used to help keep members connected to each other, to give communities a new avenue for representing who they are and what they do.

With a special emphasis on peace and justice work, it will look at new ways to share resources and to reach out to those with whom we minister. The presenters will take an honest look at the issues which surround talk about the Internet and provide a perspective from which to cut through the hype and dispel the myths.

Information will be provided concerning how to "get connected." Guided hands-on sessions will provide you with an opportunity to experience for yourself the richness of resources available, especially on the World Wide Web.

Discussions will encourage you to envision how you can practically use these resources in your own work.
