Marywood University Psych Club
What's the club all about?

The Psychology club is an academic organization whose members are mostly psychology majors or minors (however, membership is open to all students). Our advisor is Dr. David Renjilian.

The club prides itself on being very active. Each year, we hold at least two fundraisers to support club activities. We co-sponsor seminars and workshops for students. We also participate in community service (for example, we host a charity softball game with students and faculty in the fall). Each spring we attend the Eastern Psychological Association conference. This helps students learn more about research, and see what a professional conference is like. We also sell buttons with humorous psychology sayings on them at EPA...a great chance to meet students and faculty from schools all over the northeast!

In April we hold our Psychology Fair, the club's largest activity. We invite local high school students to campus to learn about the various areas of psychology through hands-on activities and presentations. The fair is run by club members and psychology professors.

Finally, we take charge of the social activities within the undergraduate psychology department. We sponsor the annual Christmas party, the spring picnic, movie nights and more. So if you are on campus, be sure to check out the Psych Club!
