Helped restructure Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counseling Program and developed and taught
workshops on Drugs of Abuse and Pharmacology, Ethics, HIV/AIDS, DSM IV: Diagnosing Substance-
Related Disorders, Treatment Planning, and Case Management. Provide these and other workshops
in on campus
presentations, and full day sessions for agency personnel at off campus
locations.
Recruited by a consortium of behavioral healthcare service providers and several colleges and
universities in Northeast PA, on behalf of Marywood University, to develop and incorporate the
Institute and negotiate contracts to perform research and provide outcome evaluations of behavioral
health services in the region. The Institute is the first of its kind, jointly owned by the service
providers and representatives of five colleges and universities.
