Academic Activities:

International Week

• November 12-16th, 2007
• International Dinner
• Praying around the world
• Art Exhibition, henna tattoo
• Int. panel presentation
• Fashion and Variety Show

Cultural Art Exhibition

• Relic from Turkish Museum, refreshment

Cultural presentation

• Inviting guest to present about his/her culture cooperation with business department, club would like to help to cover any cost and refreshment for this invitation

Cultural and Historical Trip

• The Cultural Trip to the NJ and NYC visiting the local Turkish Cultural Centers. Probably the first saturday in December 2007

Scranton Cultural Center

• See a show or musical, for all MU students, estimated 30 people, tickets are from $10-$40, explore American culture, IC members will be Able to improve their English language,September or October, club would like to provide discount for this event and transportation

Social Activities

Halloween Costume exploration day

• 25-30 people
• Pumpkin
• Teaching IC members and other about this custom

Movie Nights

• Movies in school and at Cinemark
• Choosing international movies in order to learn something new, join together with other MU Students

Bowling

• Teach IC members about American culture and its leisure activities. Also bring IC members with other students from MU, join the together, so they can discuss with each other

Thanksgiving Dinner

• 15-20 people, intercultural exchange of meaning of this event

Christmas Tree Lighting

• Supplies for creating the decoration

Ice-skating Interclub meeting

• Join together with other club as MU community
• Time scheduled at the end of the semester

YMCA or other activity to explore local area

• Hikes, tours,
• in October, for whole MU community
• Price for ticket is $5/person
• club will pay 50% off

Service Activities

Thanksgiving Basket 2x
Adopt a Grandparent

• Or IHM sisters
• Club members will bring a food, flowers And gifts to our elderly of our community or To IHM sisters

• Bake Sale
