2006-2007:  Working in conjunction with area librarians, helped promote computer literacy among their patrons by designing and delivering several basic computer classes at the Abington Community Library in Clarks Summit, PA.

· Using Google to Search the Web

· Basic Excel

 

 

July 2006:  Designed and delivered an eight-part class, “Managing and Running an Efficient and Successful Computer Lab.”  Class consisted of such topics as:  day-to-day duties, record keeping, policy formulation, procedures for opening and closing labs, PC/hardware cleaning and maintenance, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.  This class was specifically developed for the African Sisters Education Collaborative.  The goal of ASEC is to contribute significantly to increased access to education in Africa by helping to educate women religious and enabling them to acquire necessary credentials for teaching, healthcare, spiritual or social service ministries in their countries.
